Biophilia means “Nature love” and it’s becoming a driving force in designing work-places for the Information Age and the effect of office environments on the the people who work in them. Biophilic design is meant to help workers think better by providing the right context to help people act not only like animals, but smart, creative, thriving animals. Building biophilia—connecting people to nature—is a vital and legitimate approach to helping businesses get the best out of their workers, while helping workers get the most out of the work lives.
